Me? A writer? Why of course I am dariling! Though I have yet to get around to finishing any of my original works *cough cough* I do write poetry and I have quite a bit of poetry if I do say so myself. I mainly lurk around my favorite fandoms (though Gundam Wing will ALWAYS be my number one fandom).

I mainly get my inspiration for stories from things that have happened to me, my family members or friends. I also get inspired by songs, my imagination will run wild (literally) and sometimes I get inspired from other people's works.

I agree with you about nightmares being really good writing fodder. Then again, dreams can be really good writing fodder as well. Now that I think about it, some of the best stories and novels were probably inspired from nightmares and/or dreams.
