Have you ever considered writing regional fiction? I have, only... I've never been able to come up with anything I think would be interesting. Much as I love the Wild West, I've never been a fan of Westerns. lol If I did anything remotely "regional," it would actually be a time period - the American Revolution. I love how our country was founded, and I don't care if I've romanticized it!
I wonder if Washington and Jefferson might have very different stances from each other...
I wonder the same thing. I often wonder what they'd say about slavery and civil rights - especially Jefferson since he had slaves. I don't think Washington did, though. It's also interesting that Thomas Jefferson's letters are about as contraversial as some Biblical texts regarding his thoughts on the separation of Church & State. lol And inverse to me meeting them in their time, I wonder if they'd be proud of us as we are now.
