White House Considered Firing All 93 Prosecutors

^ That's the article. ^

Now either it's the most poorly written news article I've ever read, I'm completely missing something that I'm "supposed" to know, (in other words, it's STILL a poorly written story because you assume nothing about your readers and tell them everything), or I need to have my comprehension skills re-evaluated.

It's like... the entire story is missing. It starts out and you're somehow supposed to know what happened. There's no continutiy to this article! No timeline or chronological order. It's almost as if the journalist watched The Prestige and tried to go for the same past, present, and future story-telling.

What the freak happened?? Who's on what side? Who's pissed off and why? Who's on the defense - aside from the attorneys themselves - and why? Why should the prosecutors have been fired AND should they be fired at all? There ARE multiple sides to each story, and at least two for every political issue.

But I suppose it would be important to understand the story, as in what is actually happening.

So. This is what I understand:

Harriet Meirs suggested firing all 93 prosecutors.
Harriet Meirs = the White House because...??
The rest of the White House objected and turned it over to the Justice Department.
The Justice Department submitted 8 names to be gotten rid of.
The White House followed the Justice Department's suggestion, and not Harriet Meirs'.
The Democrats were upset about this.
The Democrats were happy about this.
The Republicans were upset about this.
The Republicans were happy about this.
** These last four would actually make sense, knowing the political winds... >.> Wishy-washy vote-chasers.
The Democrats...want?? the 93 gone? And they don't because it would be bad.
Harriet Meirs still wants them gone and says it won't affect the governent's running. = The White House still wants them gone and says it won't affect the government's running.
The rest of White House says it would throw the government off.
The Repblicans.... are silent as usual. Or simply being ignored, as usual.
And the attorneys at large have no opinion because the AP journalist doesn't care.

Now. Did I sum that up correctly? O.o If that's the real story, then dude. Washington is really jacked up, yo.

Wurd.

O.O He really does look so much better with black hair! Why did he dye it blonde? >.> All though, he did look semi-hottish in that Cancer video. In his band uniform. ^^ *giggle* <-- Yeah. I'm joking. =P

I'm completely bored. >.> And no one has any new memes. ;_;

I'm so restless at work today... I just want it to be over. Rachael, Ter's buddy, is throwing her weekly movie night party thing tonight; I dunno if I'll go. I always have fun, but Terri was pissed at me all day yesterday and this morning, so it might be better not to go. I don't feel much like being around people anyway... Or maybe it's just the rude Disney guests?? Maybe?? >.>

Anyway, I'm going to recite a favorite part of mine from Shrek which I haven't seen in months. =D
