Thanksgiving Plans

Hey, guys! Turkey day is tomorrow, so let's all share what we're doing and having for the most awesome feast of the year! =D 

Tonight after Church, my mom's going to put the 18lbs bird, who is still unnamed at the moment (we name our turkey every year - last, er, year before last was Esmerelda XD), into the oven to cook overnight. It'll be a challenge to sleep. >.> Let alone leave the turkey alone in the morning.

Tomorrow morning, we'll be helping my mom prepare the stuffing, potatoes, veggies, and pumpkin and apple pies while the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade is on, per tradition.

Then come 2:00 or so, we'll be loading up [turkey] and the rest of our half of the meal to head on over to the Crenshaws' house. This'll be our third year to do it together, though not in a row. The only thing I don't like about celebrating Thanksgiving with them is that they like to do Thanksgiving lunch rather than dinner: seriously, what's wrong with 5:00? I'm even good with 4! Just so long as it's not 2:30 or 3:00!

Anyway, here's our entire feast thus planned: (things always seem to appear unexpected, though)

Mashed Potatoes
Gravy
Stuffing
Green Bean Cassarole
Corn
Mrs. Crenshaw's Homemade Rolls 
Cranberry Sauce
Celery
Carrots
Black Olives

Annd for Desert... Each selection served with Cool Whip, of course:
Pumkin Pie
Apple Pie
Mrs. Crenshaw's Green Stuff - it's goood

After that, I'm sure there will be Guitar Hero and Halo Tournies - which will be won by our family because we're better gamers, but it'll be fun. ^^ Football may or may not come on since, as y'all know, the Cowboys and Redskins already played their game. (WHY??! It's ALWAYS on Thanksgiving! That's THE game!) They're doing three games this year, instead: Packers @ Lions (snorefest), Cowboys @ Jets, and Colts @ Falcons. So I guess I like the last two match-ups, but still.

Anyway, it promises to be a memorable Thanksgiving! What are y'alls' plans and menus? =D
