Yay Saturday!
Jan. 30th, 2010 12:53 pmI've been looking forward to today all week! Not only is it Saturday (translation: no work!), but today is the simulcast of Glenn Beck's and Bill O'Reilly's Bold Fresh Tour in theaters! :D Ter and I are super excited! - Though admittedly not about the ticket prices...
The only drawback of today is that it's frigid outside. Yesterday, we had more snow/sleet. No accumulation, but it has sure been a busy fall and winter season thus far.
Plans for today: Some essential shopping (I need a planner - Apparently Barnes & Noble doesn't carry planners or calendars after mid January...), Some munching, Some Halo-ing, and then tonight some theater watching. 8)
I really need this weekend after this week! We were SO busy - around 80-100 calls a day each! No rest whatsoever between them! I am so tongue-tied, I couldn't read a paragraph to y'all. I even nightmared last night that I had to take calls at home, without pay on the weekend! In the dream, just before going to bed, my cell phone rang, and all these people had questions and issues with their 401k's: I couldn't go to bed!! ;_;
Anyway. February is practically here which means things should slow down now. I'll finally have time to start researching more stuff in earnest. Reading fiction has been fun, but I feel... O_o Well, almost stupid, for me. This week I started paying attention again to politics, but I haven't really learned anything new in a while, and usually, I learn a new concept or something every day.
That's what the planner is for. I want to be able to keep track of everything I do, and be able to write, read, research, and get my politics on every week. I won't be anal about it, but I think it's the only way I won't forget to do things.
Annnnd Ter says it's time to go. :D We're off!
