And so it begins...
Jan. 2nd, 2011 10:19 pmJanuary has arrived, and by January, I mean THE busiest month of the year for my industry. Tomorrow? Busiest day of the year. There will probably be thousands of calls holding nationwide. I am not exaggerating.
Of course, this means that we have mandatory (in every sense except the actual word, or else the DOL would get in a twist again...) over time of 15-20 hours every week this month.
And me? Me, I'm still sick. >.>
I managed to get a sinus/upper respiratory infection a couple days before Christmas, and I just can't shake it. I feel like crap. (...Okay, not really. Because I imagine actual crap is probably quite... o_o Oh? You don't want to imagine what crap feels like? Me neither. XD)
I'm on meds. And giggly. In a few minutes, I'll probably be all dark and broody.
On two fandom side notes, is anyone else IN LOVE with the TRON: Legacy Soundtrack by Daft Punk? It is absolutely AMAZING! The more I listen to it, the more I love it. Which is how it works for most music, but this... If you're a fan of soundtrack music, y'all have got to listen to it even if you're not interested in the movie! I really hope they do more movies!
Also, I still love Megamind, and I don't think this one's gonna fade for a while. :D I'm so excited to have a real fandom again!
Lastly, I changed my name on X-Box Live. Previously, I was PatriotJackJack, but... Well, if you've ever played online games, you'd be aware of the filthy mouths many players have. The last part of my name there is JackJack. I never would have made anything pervy out of that, but apparently, having "JackJack" in my name meant I was a gay guy who... *coughcough* Let's jut say does plenty of nasty things.
So. New name is xThatChickJust. Why? Because when I kill people, on their screens, it will read:
"xThatChickJust killed you."
"xThatChickJust killed you with a headshot."
"xThatChickJust killed you with grenades."
"xThatChickJust assassinated you."
It makes me snicker with joy.
I have already been teabagged by many a foe. Because xThatChickJust keeps killing the boys 17 and 19 times per game. XDDDD
