Announcing Healthy Hands! :D

So it has FINALLY happened: my hands are better. Not healed; it still hurts to do things with them, but on a scale on 1-10, I'd say it's about a 0.5, and that I can deal with. :)

To celebrate over the weekend, I put in some serious Halo time and got to 1.4 million credits. Oh yeah! Inclement Weather upgrade? I am so coming for you.

I've made some tentative plans regarding a new journal layout that will feature superheroes for the summer. I always want to do a summer layout, but I never figure anything out aside from football, which really doesn't make any sense and is quite lame as an LJ layout anyway. I figure that superhero movies are what I look forward to most during the summer, so it's perfect! :D I'm excited to make a new banner. Banners are fun!

Writing should get started up again soon here. I'm grateful for the day_by_drabble thing since it got me to write two short pieces, but hopefully I can get some actual ficcage completed and released. 

Politics has been beckoning my attention, and I may have popped my head in for a debate or three... I'm not to the point of being all consumed by it as I was before though. I could barely tell you what happened last week - I know, I'm a slacker. But y'all are grateful in this case, right? ;D

Last bit in this update o' random disjointedness, I need help with getting some new music and artists. Sooo you may see a meme pop up soon here regarding that. My playlists are lacking in anything new and exciting, and that is way uncool. 

But seriously. Seriously? MY HANDS ARE BETTER! *happy dance*

I woke up to the most amazing announcement in my inbox:

WOOOOOOOT!! I knew it was a possibility, but honestly, I thought after all the drama with Infinity Ward splitting, not to mention that COD exists on hype (deserved hype, but hype nonetheless) that we wouldn't actually be seeing anything this year. Oho! But they did it!

Dude. Battlefield 3 AND Modern Warfare 3 BOTH in November? Guys. You're so not going to see me this November unless you're on X-Box Live! XD
