232 Years in the Making!
I have spent the morning reading about the signers of the Declaration of Independence and participants in the Revolutionary War. I was going to write some comprehensive thing to what I'd read, but I decided to make a pretty banner instead.
Today's list of activities includes the all-American playing of Guitar Hero. 8)
There will be a massive ICED water balloon fight - we have over 400 balloons and a handful of people to throw them between.
I shall wear shorts and flipflops and a t-shirt of the most American Peanuts! (And then Mickey Mouse after being drenched.)
We'll dine on grilled hot dogs and hamburgers!
And for the grand finale, fireworks at Ameriquest Field! :D
Maybe not as exciting as Boston, but just as fun! And much cheaper!!
Hope y'all all have super spectacular memorable Fourths!

Well, there was the Declaration of Independence, because that's a must every year, as well as some history of. I read some biographies on John Hancock, John & Samuel Adams, Paul Revere, and Thomas Jefferson. From Wikipedia to this website: www.ushistory.org/Declaration/ and a couple other websits to books that we have here. :) Very interesting reading.
