I was surprised, too; I thought it wouldn't end that soon for him. But man was that part intense at the end with Gordon's family! They all did such an excellent job there!

Oh the awesomness. You excited about the Terminator movie he's gonna be in? Should be interesting without the Govenator. lol
The problem with the other Batman movies (not the Burton ones) is that they were too silly.
I agree, though I think the problem with the Burton ones (because I didn't like them) was that they were too melodramatic. The first one was better than the second one (because I really, really don't like Catwoman. eww.) and both were far superior to the latter two, but it was just too... too, I suppose. The cartoons were always so much better.
