I have a difficult time wrapping my head around what this is actually going to mean for LJ, though that could well be because I'm doped up on cold medicine. But I have an equally difficult time, I don't know, caring? about this so long as the basic functionality of LJ remains the same. None of the changes to LJ to date have affected me or my fandom activities, which is primarily why I'm here, and I don't like to sound apathetic but I guess I really am as long as LJ retains this interface that's so easy for me to use. I have too much invested here to move anywhere. *shrug* Am I missing something?

It does amuse me that LJ is championing GRRM, who is very vocal opposed to fanfic about his A Song of Ice and Fire series--which I'm primarily writing these days, lol.
