Summary: Senator Kinsey attempts to break up SG1 by bringing up certain regulations that solely apply to the only 2 USAF officers of the team. When he starts presenting evidence, chances seem bleak except that Jack seemingly has something up his sleeve.
AN: Sorry for the longer-than-expected wait. Along with being pretty consistent for me, I couldn’t figure out how to finish it. It ended up being fluffier than I ever intended, making this more a comedic romance than a romantic comedy, if you get my drift, but at least it wasn’t a quick, silly one-liner! ;)

AN: This all popped out of one line; sadly, I was actually trying to write an R/T story and S/J stole the show. Chapter 2 will arrive by the end of the week; I'm just too tired to finish it right now.

AN: This is my first official foray into SG-1 fanfiction and first contribution to the [livejournal.com profile] sj_everyday and [livejournal.com profile] sam_and_jack comms. It's been up at ff.net, but I thought I'd wait until that Secret Santa was over before I'd post it on LJ.
As for the genres, they really do all fit in here, so stick with it, peeps, and trust me: there's nothing missing on that list, either. ;)
