Soo... I need coffee and I can't decide which flavor I want. We've got a ton to choose from, as well as several different creamer choices, not to mention that there's a Starbucks on almost every literal corner in my city. (We made a stop at the, as Ali put it, "ridiculous" 24/7 Drive-Thru Starbucks at 1:30AM this morning. XD You go to school in NY, Ali; HOW can you think that's weird? XP) This has sparked a curiosity to know what coffee blends and flavors y'all like - and you know how I'm never afraid to ask questions! ;)

Toffee Nut! How could you leave off Toffee Nut? It is the best.

Sorry! When I googled coffee flavors, I saw a lot of nut types - I thought to add a question just for them! The only actual "nut" flavor I've ever tried is hazelnut, and really, that's a hit and miss type deal with every brand - either I like it or hate it. I'll have to check it out, though. Which coffee brand do you use, btw, for home brewing? We use Gevalia - sooooo good! =D

I have some Gevalia, but I just use regular Folger's decaf for every day use. :)

Have you ever tried a Chai Latte? Those drinks are to DIE for... God just thinking about one makes me smile and want one! ^___^

OHMAN, I have to agree. And I really didn't know what they were for YEARS...when I realized I was drinking whole milk. That sort of disgusted me, a bit, and now I can't drink them T_T Because I usually got soy, and if anything skim! but now I just get regular coffee. Do you have any idea how bad Sbux drinks are for you? They're apparently crazy bad o.o

Actually you could have gotten the chai latte made with soy, skim or 2% milk. Whenever I make my drinks, I use skim milk and "sugar free" products... The thing is even if you do use soy milk, skim milk or sugar free products, you're STILL drinking something that's bad for you. Then again, what ISN'T bad for you nowadays?

And yes I'm well aware of how bad coffee drinks are for you... That's part of the reason why I'm TRYING (that's the key word) to stop drinking them. Then again I get drinks every blue moon so I should be relatively safe. I've never been one of those insane people who seem to radiate the feeling, "ZOMG I must have cofee every single waking moment!"

No, I know, it's just the idea of all that soy milk at once was a little daunting, no matter how tasty the chai mix is.

Seriously, it's sbux's fault for making them so yummy. How are we supposed to deny ourselves the peppermint mocha?? HOOOWWWW IN YOUR ADORABLE RED CUPS.

Dude, they can't decide if coffee is good or bad for you! They just came out with some study a couple weeks back that coffee helps prevent skin cancer. O_o After spending so long telling us about how terrible caffine is and what coffee does to your teeth! (Incidentally, considering how much Mike seems to adore coffee, is he still a clean-teeth freak? Cuz that might actually make sense. XD)

I swear, the next thing they're gonna say is, "And while studies have now proven that coffee decreases your lifespan by 5.6 years, those who drink coffee have lived, in most cases, more fulfilled lives. Experts suggest that this may be caused in part by coffee drinkers' ability to wake up with their daily cup of Joe (ignores innuendos) and get more accomplished than non-coffee drinkers who have to find some other way to wake themselves, causing more stress on themselves. -- This just in: STRESS KILLS."

XD

Ha! It's funny you should remember that thing about Mike and his teeth. Now that you mention it, he has slackened off since we started dating. I think he got sort of down-trodden when he got happened to get those cavities...should've got those plastic cap things like how my mom made us get when we were in middle school, Mike :P

I think it's just the coffee drinks at sbux that have all the calories o.o all the chocolate and white chocolate and milk et al. ^^;

I'm not a fan of lattes, actually, so no. They add too much milk and are often too sweet... Holy crap! I tried a Caramel Macchiato the other day...! I was almost positive that I was going to develop diabetes!! O_O

Oh, I'm a Breakfast Blend-er. I get this nice stuff from Whole Foods that smells...OHMAN, when you open that bag it's like a little bit of heaven, it smells so nice. Plus it's good and weak :D And you know? I STILL go bouncing off the walls after a full cup. Yeah, I know, it's pathetic and I'm ashamed to admit it. anyway.

The stuff that Mike makes...er...well, I usually fill my mug about a quarter of the way full with it, and then add hot water to the rest ^^;; It's CRAZY strong. He goes through like three bags every two weeks, or something. >.>

(but, you know, when he's drinking coffee, his lips get all warm...so I don't really mind. It's a really nice affect. Just wait till you try it ;D)

Forgot to mention this but I've also switched to decaf. And I try to use the weakest blend of coffee when I make drinks for myself.

*is chuckling* You know what Mike says about decaf? That it's blasphemous. Which is crazy, seeing as he mostly drinks coffee nowadays because he legitimately likes the taste. Weird-o |D

To be honest (and I know, Jacks, what with this quiz that this is going to be blasphemous), I drink more tea than coffee nowadays. Which I hear inhibits your absorbtion of iron. Huh. Anyway.

Eww! Weak coffee?? =/

You do know that you control how weak the coffee is by how many spoonfuls you put in there to brew, right? XP

Oh, how I LUUUUUUUUV the smell of coffee! They seriously need to perfect the whole candle thing - Starbucks would make a killing if they'd just invest a little on the side.

Dude. If I didn't have any self control, I'd go through that many too, but not due to strength... XD

(Aww, how sweet. XP Again, I insist that you are more excited about my "future" love life than I am!)

From: [identity profile] alilamba.livejournal.com
Yeah, weak coffee. I admit I can't take the strong stuff ^^; And I really can't do the cream and sugar thing, I found after awhile. Unless I order them like that? Like I used to be all over the soy latte and mocha thing. Not necessarily pumpkin spice (DUDE. It was ORANGE.) but, you know.

From: [identity profile] xxdesert-rose.livejournal.com
Yes I'm a weakling. I can't handle strong coffee... Actually my cofee is so weak it might as well not even be cofee. After I'm done with the milk and sugar, you would think I'm drinking hot chocolate...

You know how some people drink coffee with nothing in it? Just straight black coffee? I can't do that! Or you have people who get iced cofee... Nope, sorry I'm sticking to an iced mocha or a latte.

And yes it's annoying how they keep changing their minds about what's good and what's not good for you. I swear, they should just release a study and tell us not to eat or drink ANYTHING!
