Am I the only person glued to the Olympics? :D I've been watching all day! 

Unfortunately I missed the opening ceremony last night, though. :( I've seen clips; looks like it was amazing. Maybe NBC has it on their website.

Did y'all see the beach volleyball rounds this morning? SO AWESOME! Our guys didn't do so hot, but Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh were seriously cool!

Go Team USA!!! 

And go Michael Phelps!! 8 gold medals! He can do it! :DDD

Annnnd back to men's gymnastics!

Dude, Misty and Kerri were OMGZAMAZING! Did you hear about Bush spanking Misty, though? Eh, please get him out of office ASAP.

And Phelps is so humble about the whole thing! It really surprised me because I thought he would be kind of stuck up. (I totally love how the first thing he does when he gets out of the water is look for his Mum! So cool!)

Haven't the reporters been beyond retarded, though? Did you hear that one guy going on about how vital water is during that 6 hour bike race? "He's drinking water!" NAH! Ya' think? "Yes!! Because it's important!"

I heard about him visiting; never heard anything about a spank. Even so, I'd much prefer the most negative impressions of that to a sitting president jacking off with an intern in the Oval Office.

He is! It's all about breaking the records and telling everyone that it CAN be done rather than him just beating everyone. I love how he just won the supposed-to-be hardest race so easily!

Haha. Yeah, the commentators are a bit...slow. "Did you know when water polo is not in the water it's played on horses?"

I know! And America was so awesome at the Relay, I was very surprised, though, that the French dude was saying that France would 'smash' America (because really, I like the Olympics because they are normally a display of camaraderie and likeness). And then we won, big time.

How utterly retarded. lol I think everyone saw the prelims for Michael Phelps and how the other reporter looked at the guy when he kept saying that Phelps didn't need to set an Olympic Record in the prelims. He was just like, "What?? Are you serious? Who are you to make that judgement?!" Every time he brought it up later in the finals, the other people were just silent about it. LOL

Aww. I missed that. But sweet!!! We fried the French. 8)

Haha. I know how that it now. I was watching diving and they are sooo analytical of everything.

And then I started to do that too, knowing full well I would never be able to dive like that in my lifetime.

Reporter: Last question - You were very emotional up there during the awards ceremony when you received your gold medal. You cried throughout the playing of the National Anthem. Why so emotional?

Seriously, lady! Are you for real?!! Why wouldn't someone cry after receiving an OLYMPIC GOLD MEDAL for their country?!
