ABC News - Jobs 'Saved or Created' in Congressional Districts That Don't Exist

Stimulus Package – I bet you remember all the jobs “saved or created” by the money, or so the administration claims. Only a light investigation to it shows either massive incompetence or massive corruption! Below, I’ve included some of y’all’s states. The information comes from THIS 18 million dollar website.

I'm sure the folks of DC are pleased to know that they've finally been granted representation, despite not being a State. I wonder how the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico feel about statehood granted overnight, though... Golly, do ya' think THIS is how Congress plans to pay for healthcare? Add to the tax base without even passing any increases - not that there haven't been increases - by simply adding states!

*bats hand* Those Congressmen and Senators! It works with amnesty, too! They're just so smart. Always one step ahead of us little simpletons. *shakes finger* They told you they can handle this. They know better!

In all seriousness, the government's excuse for this grossly incompetent accounting of the funds is.................. wait for it................. human error. Yup!

So that's all it is, peeps: just some folks in government completely unaware that in order to have congressional districts, statehood must be in place first. Unaware that a 00th district could never exist. Unable to logically consider what the population would have to be for a state to have a 99th district. (For reference, the third largest by size state, California, has the most with 53 - 36.7 million people.) Simple division may also be beyond their grasp as many of these jobs saved or created net a whopping $1,500 yearly salary - or better yet, an $8 yearly salary. Wow. Wouldn't you feel lucky to have one of those jobs.

Did you know that several jobs were created or saved when a company bought a lawn mower? Uh huh! How amazing must that lawn mower be? :D

Yes, yes. This should definitely instill confidence in you that the government can safely and efficiently, while saving money on top of it all, run healthcare for the nation!

Yeah, I know there are more of y'all in other states, but I can't remember them all, so ask if you wanna know! Or check out the site, though it's slow and laborious. - Your tax dollars at work, people. Be appreciative for the generosity of such transparency and quit checking your internet connection!!

Note: This data was compiled on Tuesday. Since then, the site has been updated to rid the congressional district breakdowns of made-up districts. Instead, those total amounts are allocated in "Unassigned District." I do still have a full source if you're curious about your state's special districts, though.
