Thankful for no Voldemort
Nov. 22nd, 2007 10:43 amHe'd taken over the UK and had arrived in America; we Muggles knew everything thanks to the CIA whose last operation of informing the public ended in their obliteration.
All the wizards and witches had been captured, killed , or forced to work as Death Eaters. Practically everything we said about the US Constitution/Government, feeling sorry for those in the UK/witches/wizards, nostalgic memories of The Past, and whispers of rebellion/what it'd be like without Voldie was taboo, resulting in an immediate Avade Kedavra of you or a family member/friend or a slow, excruciating Cruciatus Curse by means of death.
By default, I became the underground movement's leader. The NA did exist, and I was a part of it. However, my team had been entirely captured as had the leaders of the organization. (For those of you that don't know, the Nameless Agency is a spy society from my original story The Man.) It was up to me to devise a plan to kill Voldemort, and talking about in circles without ever finishing my sentences was infuritating. Not to mention my constant thoughts of, "I'm really not qualified for this!"
The plan ended up being that while Voldemort was on a casino cruise ship "entertaining" some important members of our society (aka, members of Congress) that we would stop at no ends to ensure his death. Backup plan after backup plan was hatched. My main sickening worry, however, was that Voldemort would Disapparate. So we settled on two plans: blow the entire ship to pieces thus taking out about half of Congress as well, or snipe him and hope he couldn't block it. Sniping became plan A after Major Samantha Carter (from Stargate SG:1) insisted it could prevent casualties, but someone had to determine if it would work: that someone was me.
So my mission was to sneak on board and get close to Voldie without being detected to find if he had a shield of some sort. He did have one, I discovered after a very suspensful "30 minutes," and I had to get him out of its protective embrace.
"One day, our children will know freedom," I dumbly said. But Voldemort dumbly stepped forward out of his stationary shield's protection to address me with his wand. The last thing I heard, because I suddenly couldn't see, was the echoing of about 20 sniper shots, and close as I was to Voldie, the chances of me escaping getting hit by a few were slim to none.
Then I woke up. O_O And I looked for my glasses and grabbed Ace to tell y'all. A dream with The Man, Harry Potter, and aspects of Stargate SG:1.... @_@ Cool, but scary.
This Thanksgiving, I'm glad that Voldemort is not real!! And maybe that my imagination isn't real, too! XD
Happy Thanksgiving, y'all!
News Flash
Jun. 19th, 2007 02:47 pmAt the moment, I'm holding onto Part 3 partly because I'm trying to shrink it, but also because I'm fixing to be kicked off the compy, I think, and I won't be able to format it properly - if I can even get it to post. I'd REALLY like it to fit in two parts, though. But considering that I can only squeeze in 19 pages per post, I don't think it's possible...
Please heed the Mature Content Warning on the chapter; I know none of y'all are under 17, but I don't want anyone surprised or feeling unprepared for what's in it. Before anyone asks, the explanation for what Wolfe does is simply that he's sadistic; when I received no word on what anyone thought of it in a previous post only a couple of you could see, I did prepare a separate less...weird...version of the scene, but I ultimately decided to stay true to his character. Don't beat me if you don't like it; I did ask for assistance.
Chapter 7: Snow Fight and Chapter 8: Rescue are both already written. Chapter 7 isn't quite so long as Chapter 6 or 8, but Chapter 8 may compete with 6's length.
I'll also be re-arranging the

Off to get the Bubber from his sectional; here's hoping I'm able to get back on when I return.
- Oh, and if anyone's wondering why it's taken me so long to type this stuff....... I confess to beinging newly obsessed with Gundam Seed. XD WOOOT! PHASE 38!! ^________________^
The Three Spirits
May. 4th, 2007 05:47 pmJa... I totally fell asleep 30 minutes after my writing break last night. ^^;; (I did write all.day.long. yesterday. =P) I was supposed to write for another 2 hours, but I didn't make it that far. XD
The funny thing was that three people kept popping up in my (completely random chain of events) dream: Ali, Cali, and Morri. XDXD
( The Spirit of Ali and Chapters Yet to Come... )
( The Spirit of Cali and Chapters ... in Progress. XD )
Anyway, I forgot that yesterday was Thursday which makes today Friday, May 4th. This is important because today is Allison's birthday, and I'm like...her big helper in her whole dinner and SPIDERMAN 3 movie tonight. ^^
Basically, I'm about 4 hours behind schedule, where I should have been posting the chapter right about now. I've got about 2 1/2 hours before I have to do anything else, so we'll see how far I get. I was working faster than I anticipated last night... ;)
Chapter 6 Teaser
May. 3rd, 2007 07:32 pmWhat would y'all say to the posting of Chapter 6 tonight?
It's a possibility, though I'm not sure how probable... It depends on how easily this last part comes: a gigantic action sequence which will be longer than Chapter 4....but have nothing on Chapter 7. XD I also have the odd scene between Wicked and Wolfe to complete, which I'm fixing to start work on that as soon as I finish posting this, and possibly after Ter and I head over to Chick-Fil-A. I've got about 2/3rds of the chapter finished; I've re-written 98% of everything I lost in the Passing of my Jump Drive. Now it's just the last gigantic action scene. :) - And yes, Morri, I think the second time around, it came out better.
But until I finish it, either posting tonight or some time tomorrow afternoon, here's a long teaser to hold y'all over. It starts in Anderson's office, by the way, and earlier, the secretary receptionist on the ground floor couldn't get a hold of Gaither to inform them of their "FBI" undercover presence. Only Artemis and Circe are in this scene.
Many thanks to System of a Down and Disturbed for making this part a lot more creepy than I'd ever intended. - Oh, and by the way, just so y'all know, Chapter 6 has a Mature Content Warning on it. ^^;;;;;;;
ETA: Oh yeah... And I haven't done my word-by-word edit yet. >.> Yeahhhhhh... Y'all can see how many times I reuse the same words within paragraphs and even sentences!! How embarrassing...
WOLFE??!! XD
Apr. 28th, 2007 10:03 pmHis hair's a little too dark and short, and his eyes aren't grey, but they do kind of glitter!! ^^ OH DEAR FUZZY! It's WOLFE!! XD
Wanna see Wolfe? Watch "Red Eye!" ^_____^

It's a good thing I got it posted when I did; immediately after I pushed the submit button for Code Red, the computer told me that Microsoft Windows had detected a problem and was doing a memory dump... which shut down the entire computer and lost everything else I'd been working on. >.>
Anyway, y'all know that The Man started out as a dream. Well, guess what I dreamed about last night! XD That's what Code Red is.
I wrote it out just as the dream was; I'm not writing any more of it. =P It's a completely different, unrelated plotline. If I chanced a guess at the timeline, I'd say before The Man occured, but it wouldn't make sense for The Team and the Guys to have met. *shrugs*
The dream stars the main seven and Terri. You can find out more by reading the briefing on the NA.
And I just found out that one of my roommates stole the only lunch that I had for this entire week.
ETA: If you tried to read it and it was out of order and messed up, it's now fixed.
The Man Mini-"Fic:" Saving Agent Athena
Mar. 23rd, 2006 09:56 pmPosing as a semi-round robin, the participants/characters of The Man may post pieces of the story in turns. You may post whatever you like, including scenes involving or not involving your character. While twists and turns are most assuredly ENCOURAGED, don't do anything to... say kill someone. ^_^ In other words, nothing drastic.
I have no idea how this is supposed to end or what's supposed to happen in the middle; just do whatever you want. ^_^ Within reason. ^_~
*ALWAYS POST AS A NEW COMMENT TO THIS UPDATE. I will delete it if you don't and ask you to re-post it. - Or repost it myself, of course, with credit to you. ^_~ As Cali pointed out, we don't want the page to get long and narrow. ^_^
Here's the scene:
-----------------------
Be prepared for wierdness... I swear this is the strangest most interesting dream I've ever had... It's like a freakin' movie!
I've been having a recurring nightmarish fantasy dream for the past three nights... And you were there, and you were there, and you were there, too!
No, really!
The only member of my family that is in this dream, (and he's not even really in it...), is my father. The rest of my family is in California for some reason.
(Please excuse tense changes... And yeah, it's long, but interesting, I promise!
)
