General Update

fantastic_jackieToday, I had an epiphany! It was awesome! The first ever SG-1 fic I began working on was actually a Team Crack!Fic involving truth or dare and much annoyance to Daniel by none other than Jack. Once Daniel was posed to get his revenge though, I ran out of thought on where to take it. Today, I figured it out, and the answer is none other than Teal'c! *rubs his bald head - he looks better without hair!* So I'm excited to work on that tonight. - Providing I'm feeling well enough, that is.
The chest and back-hip things, while they've never gone away, have started acting up with a vengance. Last night, I just collapsed into bed and went straight to sleep as soon as I got home because it just hurt so badly. I'm even having a hard time getting myself to eat - though that would be the whole... heartburn/moderately severe indigestion at 21... thing... >.> Which may or may not be different and/or connected. (*is falling apart*) Ter and I have found something that might explain everything and would make a lot of sense, identical twin factor included, but it's vague at best. Even though it seems to fit me perfectly, part of the identifying factor is that it's unidentifiable and often never spotted until major damage has occured. So more research will be done, printed out, and handed to the Doctor to consider.
And this just in: My manager is SUPAH! coo'! 8)
In other news, a guy I went to HS with is working here now! O.O He's apparently in training and came up to "double jack" (you sit with another person and listen/watch the trained representative take calls) with one of the guys from my team! I was on a call and looked up, and then we kinda blinked at each other and stole furritive are-you-who-I-think-you-are glances back and forth. Sure enough, my teammate confirmed that it was him. XD Ohhh the stories I could tell about him in band! XDDD
Four hours till I'm off tonight... *taps impatiently* The 'rents are having an important meeting in an hour from now, and I'm anxious to hear what happens. I won't know until I actually get home tonight, though. Hopefully, the news won't be distressing.
Speaking of "till," has anyone ever understood the difference between "Till" and "'til?" Because I never have. O_o It's random, but they're supposed to be used at separate times, aren't they? But they always mean the same thing, and I can't think of any different grammatical usage!

OH SWEETNESS! One of my team buddies just sent over PacMan, Tetris, Golf, and Sonic to play on my work computer! :DDD

Date: 2008-02-27 12:39 am (UTC)Actually I think it's till or 'til with one L, isn't it? To abbreviate until. I've never heard of any difference in them. Is one more acceptable than the other? I wouldn't fret over it, lol.

Date: 2008-02-27 01:12 am (UTC)Supposedly, there was a difference that was brought up by two of my teachers in HS. It just so happened that I was completely zoning out both times, and I never did remember to ask them. The only thing that's ever made sense to me is that "till" is more proper than "'til," and the latter is never to be used in homework. But then I remember doing worksheets and just taking a 50/50 shot guess as to which one was correct. I never cared enough to ask because I thought it was stupid. lol Now it's just a frustrating bit of information I don't know, and maybe it was something as simple as English Teacher Preferance!
